Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of cozycore.uk and any purchases you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

CozyCore is a trading name of Valo Optimise Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. We can be reached at hello@cozycore.uk.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or over to place an order. By ordering, you confirm you're a UK resident or otherwise legally permitted to receive deliveries to your billing/shipping address.

2. Orders

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. The order is only accepted once we've sent the order confirmation email and (where payment hasn't already been taken) charged your card. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (for example, if pricing was clearly wrong, or if we detect fraudulent activity). If we cancel after taking payment, we refund you within 3 business days.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable. Prices and availability can change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate prices, but if a clear pricing error is spotted before dispatch, we will contact you to either honour the error, charge the correct price (with your consent), or cancel and refund.

4. Payment

We accept cards processed by Shopify Payments. Your card details never touch our servers — they go directly to Shopify Payments. Other payment methods may be added in the future.

6. Product images and descriptions

We do our best to represent products accurately, but slight variation in colour, texture, and grain is normal for handcrafted and natural-material items. Most of our catalogue includes ceramic, linen, wool, and wood — these materials don't repeat identically. We don't consider this a defect.

7. Intellectual property

All content on cozycore.uk — text, images, logos, original copy — is owned by Valo Optimise Ltd or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish anything from the site for commercial use without our written permission. Personal use (saving, sharing on social media with attribution) is fine.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access non-public parts of the site
Submit fake orders, fake reviews, or fraudulent payment details
Use the site to harass other customers or our staff
Resell our products in a way that misrepresents them as your own brand

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under UK law. Subject to that:

Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order
We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profit, lost time, etc.) caused by delivery delays, product defects, or site downtime — beyond the remedies set out in our Refund & Shipping policies

10. Force majeure

We aren't liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control: postal disruption, supplier failures, customs delays, natural events, public health restrictions, or acts of government.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the site at the time you placed the order.
